The Podcast of Ideas: Episode 2

In this edition we talk about mitochondrial donation, The Academy and the London Legal Salon's upcoming series of debates on abortion

Alongside our regular podcast recordings of Battle of Ideas debates and Academy lectures, the Institute has now launched a magazine-style podcast where IoI staff and Battle of Ideas regulars will discuss issues in the news and forthcoming IoI events.

This week, Sandy Starr from the Progress Educational Trust explains the background to this week’s House of Commons vote approving, in principle, the creation of ‘three-person embryos’. The IoI’s Anwar Oduro-Kwarteng tells us about the fifth annual IoI Academy in July, and solicitor Luke Gittos from the London Legal Salon introduces an exciting series of debates on abortion that the Salon is hosting in the coming weeks and discusses the debate around abortion today.

To keep up with the IoI’s podcasts, you can subscribe via iTunes or via RSS.
