Creative Destruction: how to start an economic renaissance

Listen to the discussion at the launch of Phil Mullan's new book.

On Monday 3 April, the Future Cities Project and the IoI Economy Forum hosted a Bookshop Barnie event at the Building Centre in London to discuss a new book on revitalising the economy. The author of Creative Destruction: How to start an economic renaissance, Phil Mullan, introduced the main themes of the book. In order to break out of our economic malaise, which has been with us for over 40 years, we need a renewed focus on raising productivity. In turn, that means destruction - an end to propping up zombie firms kept on life support by government policy and easy credit - and and also creativity - supporting new industries and innovations.

You can order Phil’s book via Amazon (UK).
